You explain the whole situation with the Blue Dream and Dimitri just shakes his head.

What Dimitri is expecting from you is 10 gold pieces per vial. There were 10 vials so that's 100 gold pieces if you sold them all. (Each vial makes up the difference)
If you can't afford this you can try to fast talk him into saying you couldn't get that much for each vial due to the poor nature of the peasants. For this you can make a MIND test and add 2 to the result. If you succeed Dimitri will accept the equivalent of 80 gold. If you fail he gets annoyed and thinks that you're holding out and will ask for 120 gold instead!
In any case you don't have to pay him at all and deal with the consequences.
