You turn and head for the door. You yank it open in time to see two goons fill the doorway.
They go hands on immediately, the first one bull rushing through the door, pinning you to the back wall. You squeeze off three shots into his gut at point blank range but he doesnt break his grip.
You throat punch him with your free hand. He stumbles backward, clutching his ruptured windpipe, and goes down. You bring your .38 up, firing two shots to the second goons head. He brings his .45 up at the same time and squeezes two off.
You both slump to the floor.
