Final Quest
"That must be Death," Torai whispers, the tone of his voice horror struck.
You stare at the figure with a racing heart, and then lift the glowing sword that the dark nymph gave you. "I hope this works," you mutter.
"It had better do," Alasse responds from behind you. "Or we're all dead."
"I'll handle this," you say. "I don't want either of you interfering."
"Agreed," the two reply in chorus.
The figure sees you, and a horrific snarl escapes it before it lunges at you.
This battle is going to be handled slightly differently from the other battles in this adventure.
Death
Skill 8
Stamina 20
To find out your skill, roll one dice. Add 6 to the total. To find out your stamina, roll two dice. Add 12 to the total.
To battle, roll two dice for Death, and add his skill number to the total. This is his attack strength.
For yourself, do the same, but as well as adding your skill number, also add one to the total because of the golden sword. This is then your attack strength.
If Death has the higher attack strength, subtract two points of stamina from your total. If, however, you have the higher attack strength, take three points of stamina from Death's total. Continue this until one of you runs out of stamina, which means you are dead.
