"We are waiting for the tide because it was too far in when we arrived," he replied as if that should be obvious. Of course that wasn't the part I was questioning.

"Yes, but once it's out far enough what are we going to do?" I took another bite of the sandwich as I waited for his reply.

"Then we will be able to go inside. It is impossible to apparate in my home because of the protections I keep on it, and I like it that way." He was just finishing his meal. I didn't really understand what he was saying, but I had the idea that inquiring further wouldn't do me any good. I finished my sandwich, finally feeling full. I hadn't felt full since I'd left school for holiday. It was a nice feeling.
