I stopped short, putting my hand through my hair self-consciously. "Malfoy?" I said, wondering if I was having a dream. Draco turned towards me and nodded once.

"I need to talk to you," he said, glancing at Uncle Vernon, "privately. These muggles don't seem to understand the word."

"Watch your mouth, child," Uncle Vernon said crossly. "We'll not have any of that kind of language in our house."

Draco rolled his eyes, "They really are stupid, aren't they?" he said. I looked around the room.

"Malfoy, I hate you, you hate me, what the hell are you doing in my Aunt and Uncle's house?" I looked around as he pulled out his wand. My Aunt gasped and my Uncle got purple in the face.

"I need to talk to you in P-R-I-V-A-T-E. What is it about that word that no one around here seems to understand?"

"I'll not have that talk in my house!" Uncle Vernon said, his face looking like an overlarge plum. I took Malfoy's arm by the sleeve and started tugging at it.

"Come on, we can talk in my room." I started heading upstairs but was blocked by my Aunt.

"No one in the neighborhood must know about your unseemly visitor," she said, sniffing in a way that made me want to laugh. "It's most distressing." I nodded.

"We're going upstairs, I'll find out what he wants, then he'll be gone, alright?" She nodded and glanced around the room.

"I can't believe anyone from *your* world is here," she whispered as she walked away.

"What is wrong with your muggle relations?" Draco said as he followed me up the stairs.

"They're barking," I said, opening the door to my room and walking inside. Honestly I didn't want him in here, but I couldn't think of anywhere else that was private. The room really was a sty though.

"What do you live in," Malfoy said, wrinkling his nose. I turned on him.

"Look Malfoy, I hate you, remember? I don't know why you're here, but keep in mind that I don't want you to be here. I'm only listening to you for a minute, you better state why you're here, and then leave me alone. You asked for private, well here it is. Spill it."

He looked at me for a moment, then turned away. "What I have to say is really important, but it's not easy to say." I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever you have to say to me must be important, you hate me. Will you just say what's on your mind already?"

He shrugged, "Fine, you see Potter the problem is..."
