As you set out on your way of the opposite direction that the merchant arrived in you get a feeling that this probably won't be a simple escape, and you're right.

The goblins, orcs and the rest aren't just coming from one direction; apparently they've established a presence in the entire area. A couple hours pass and you're hearing the pulling of bow stringsĀ…

There's too many to fight and most of them are already loading up more arrows. You begin to run and a few start to give chase.

You haven't been this way before, but staying on the road is probably dangerous as they probably have more of their numbers up ahead. You're aware that there's a forest and a swamp nearby. You're going to have to choose which one you want to try to escape through.
