The Island of Destiny
You decide to follow Maren, the blue female parrot. You don't know why, but she does seem to be more trustworthy than Jarra. Maren flaps over to your shoulder and perches on it with a triumphant caw. You both watch as Jarra flies away in humiliation. Once he's gone, Maren flies off your shoulder and dances around in the air.
"Okay, now follow me," Maren instructs you.
As you walk through the jungle, you keep your eye on Maren, who flies through the trees a few feet ahead of you. The path she takes you on is very smooth and it actually becomes very peaceful for you. You realize that even though you're leaving the island, you might as well enjoy the little time left that you're going to spend on this tropical paradise. But as you think into it more you realize, what kind of tropical paradise has talking parrots?
After about fifteen minutes of walking through the mysterious woods, Maren stops flying ahead and comes back to your shoulder, where she firmly perches. Before you lies a deep blue river, about twenty feet wide. The water looks beautiful and even though you it's not clear at all, it's a very admirable dark blue, almost purple.
Then you notice that at certain parts of the river, a strange, dark blue fog emits from the water. "What's the fog for?" you ask Maren.
Elusively, she answers "It doesn't matter. But it's perfectly safe for you to cross." When she finishes she gives a little giggle, which you notice looks very abnormal coming from a parrot.
Well, you don't know whether you can trust this water or not? Can you trust Maren? Perhaps Jarra was right about her..
