"..Uhh, sure," you reply. Curiously, you wait to find out if you got the answer right or not. But after it feels a long time has gone by, the mysterious voice still has not answered.
"Um, hello?" you call out. But still the voice does not respond.
"Hey! Why don't you answer?"
As you keep calling out, every time you are met with the same cold silence. Realizing the worst, your heart sinks in your chest. You must have gotten the question wrong.
You are not worth the person's time. You aren't smart enough to be capable of understanding the answers the person was ready to give you.
Now you are alone, with all your despair and grief.
