You'd like to remain unknown and the best way of doing so is from afar, and besides mobsters normally travel in packs wich makes it hard to come in close without others getting involved.
You begin to think of the area and map it out on your desk. The two places you recall are the best positions for a shot are the wooded area near the city park or the abandoned building across the intersection on 8th.
The building has good height advantage but the woods is easy to camoulflage into where you can't be seen, only problem is the park is often patrolled by police and the building has security for renovation equipment that is stored there. Your rifle is loaded and your ready for business in the morning.
