Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red
As Psyduck stands at the far wall cackling his head off, you shout up to him.
Charmander: "Hey, Psyduck! Can you cool it for one sec? I want to know if you can read this note that we found."
Psyduck: "I have no time for you puny-*suddenly happy* Note? You say you have a note? I love notes! Ooh, let me see!"
Psyduck starts walking towards you and your team. With each step the ground shakes more and more violently. You shout out from fear of being knocked out.
Charmander: "STOP!!! You're going to kill us! We'll come to you."
You catiously approach Psyduck with Pikachu and Donphan timidly following behind you. When you reach Psyduck, you're shaking really badly, but you manage to stick your arm out with the note in your hand. Psyduck bends down and plucks the note from your hand.
Psyduck: "Hmm...it seems to be written in invisible ink. Hmm...ohh, I love mysteries!"
Psyducks falls on the floor with a crash and stares at the note from every angle. You stay where you are, watching and waiting. After some time, it becomes apparent that Psyduck isn't going to either figure it out or give up. Finally, you speak up.
Charmander: "Umm...Psyduck?"
Psyduck: "Mmm..."
Charmander: "What about that whole 'prepare to face your death' thing?"
Psyduck: "Hmm...what? Death? Oh, that. Well, I'm kinda busy right now. Here, you can take her."
Psyduck waves his hand/paw/flipper/thing, and Phanpy appears beside you. You step out to get her, and this time Psyduck doesn't threaten you. You reach down to touch her, and she's real, not a hologram. Donphan rushes to Phanpy and begins to cry.
Donphan: "OHH, MY BABY!!! My dear, my darling! You're still alive! Don't worry baby, you're safe now. Are you hurt?"
Phanpy: "No Mama, I'm ok. Can we go home now?"
Pikachu: "Yeah, lets go now."
Psyduck: "Mmm...go? Oh, yeah, go ahead. And thanks for bringing me this note! I have been so bored for so long that I've resorted to kidnapping. But now that I have this...fun..."
Charmander: "You're welcome Psyduck. Lets go now."
You use the rescue badge to go home. The four of you become surrounded by a white light. You feel yourself rising, then you get knocked out. When you awaken, you find yourself landing in front of the Bulletin Board by the Peliper Post Office. When everyone has landed and gotten their footing, Donphan speaks.
Donphan: "Charmander, Pikachu, thank you so much for what you have done. I don't know how I could ever repay you. I have an idea though. May my daughter an I join your rescue team?"
Charmander: "Sure! Welcome aboard Donphan and Phanpy!"
And so, our story concludes. Everyone is happy, and the world is safe from Giant Psyduck (for now...). There is only one more choice I am forcing you to make: Should the story continue?
