Mysterious Wonder

She nods. "I've been attacked many times before. The wall behind my bed, hurry!" You both run up as the door below you is pounded on again and again. You think you hear the wood cracking, which can't be good. Frantically you search the wall for a latch, a switch, anything- but instead she merely steps on a floorboard and it swings open. You're amazed, you didn't notice a crack there before. You pull her in.
"Come on, hurry!" You think on it for a second- although it would be safer in there, perhaps allowing her to hide would be better while you dealt with them.
