You duck into one of the rooms ready to ambush guard when he comes looking for you, but upon entering, you notice the dancing girl attempting to hide her son. They both look upon you with fear.

Mission accomplished, but now you need to take care that guard who's probably going to be stepping in the door any minute. In fact you're surprised that he hasn't. You cautiously step back to the room where you were fighting with him, and see him dead on the floor. Again, you're surprised. You didn't think you caused enough damage to kill him, unless the potted plant was the final straw, but that seems unlikely.
