You make your way back to the sewer hideout where you made your eternal pact to serve the Dark One. To your surprise you are summoned by the head of the cell. A hood partially covers his face like most of the other followers of the Dark One. One thing that makes him stand out is the extremely sharp looking sword he carries on his side. He sizes you up briefly and then introduces himself as Reginald.

"So, you are the new initiate…hmmm? I heard you performed the tests and rituals for our glorious Dark Father without hesitation, however I also know you were once a Priest of the One True Liar!"
"Do you think me a spy then?" you ask.
"A spy? No. A dedicated sheep of the One True Liar wouldn't have the stomach to do the deeds you did that night. However, I question your dedication to our Dark Father's cause. After all, you were once a member of our hated enemy, and something changed your mind to stop serving him. What's to say you won't change your mind again later?"
"Because I know The Dark One would be merciless if I betrayed him. I have pledged my soul to his cause…there is no going back even if I so desired such an idiotic thing. The Dark One is my master for all eternity now."
"Yes, we all know the oath, but in the past there have been weak willed and the indecisive initiates that suddenly think they can save their souls by changing sides. Nonsense. Their soul at that point is already the Dark One's. Some even go to the old and feeble pagan gods, thinking that they will be able to defend them. They cannot. The Dark Father is all powerful and eventually punishes ALL traitors. However it still didn't prevent the damage they caused with their traitorous ways. So my concern isn't what happens to you, it's what you can DO for the Dark One's glory and if you will be able to serve in an efficient loyal manner."
"I am ready to perform whatever task that will best serve the Dark One." You say confidently.
"Very well. We'll see how dedicated you are. The other temples still carry strength in this City and need to be weakened before…well you'll find out. In any case I want you to go out and spread disharmony among them. While they're fighting amongst themselves they'll be easier prey later on."
"How am I supposed to go about this?"
"The Dark One doesn't coddle his followers, you should know that! I don't care how you do it, just do it without arousing suspicion to us! Fail and I think you're well aware of what the penalty will be! Now go and don't return until you've succeeded!"

You leave the High Priest's chambers and ponder how exactly you're going to accomplish this daunting task. There are four major temples after all. Karn, Dorna, Fel and Yag.

At this point all your work for the Dark One is focused, so alignment isn't too much of an issue (In fact you can subtract 5 alignment points right now). For this part of the adventure you'll be temporarily getting a new stat: CHAOS. (You start at 0 and it increases depending on your actions) This will gauge how well you're sewing disharmony in the city. Please note it doesn't matter HOW you're doing it, (Telling lies to start fights between people works just as well as butchering them, sometimes even better) just as long as you're successful, it just determines how you're going about things and the benefits (or perhaps consequences) of those actions later.

You walk around in the Temple District for a few days trying to get an idea of what to do and assessing the strengths and weaknesses or your enemies. From what you can tell the temple of Yag is easily the weakest, filled with drunken gamblers who claim to be "priests". Karn boasts strong warrior priests trained in combat, but in reality they're just a bunch of simple minded, fools who act before they think. Dorna's priestesses believe themselves to be all knowing yet don't see that their faith is weakening everyday due to their own short sighted arrogance. The temple of Fel is possibly the only real rival, but for all their slinking in the shadows even they will not be able to hide from the Dark One…

Ultimately you feel the best way to get this started is with a murder. All good plans usually do.

The two likelier candidates to ambush easily are either a priest of Yag who are usually drunk and seemingly unaware of most of their surroundings or a priest of Karn, who routinely go around bullying the peasants for donations.
