A crowd has formed during your battle with the Karnite Priests; most of them are picking up the coins that fell from their collection bag during the battle.
"Wow, I've never seen a priest ofÂ…what god is it you lot follow again?" the fat commoner says.
"The One True God." You reply.
"Oh yeah, well I've never seen one of you guys fight like that before. Most of the time I see you guys, you're getting beat up."
"Yes well, there's going to be some changes in the church now that I'm around. You probably think Karn is a powerful god, but he is nothing compared to the One True God. The power he gives me to combat evil and those that would exploit the helpless is due to my acceptance of him. If YOU accept him, you'll be able to find that power within you also."
The people look a little apprehensive of your words, they're appreciative of what you've done, but this isn't going to be the end of it. More Karnites are sure to come, and they'll be even more hostile and looking to take it out on someone which will be them no doubt. The other thing is, they aren't sure if they'll be trading one "bully" for another. Of course you have no intention on shaking these people down for donations, but they don't know that, they just see you as another priest trying to convert them so they'll support your church instead.
You're going to have to convince them somehow.
