This was probably a wise decision on your part. You can't avoid more bloodshed at this point, but you can at least decrease it, especially your own! The Priests of Karn can't refuse your challenge and one of them goes to fetch their leader, who eventually comes out...naked. Apparently he was deep in a meditation ritual and very angry he was disturbed from it. He looks like he's part ogre, and comes from some barbarian tribe rather than civilization. He certainly resembles the human body taken to its highest level. He wields a double handed warhammer of the largest size, and is intent on nailing your skull to the ground with it.

The only advantage you have is he's fighting completely naked! Meaning you'll do an extra STAMINA point of damage to him. If you wish to pray for help in this battle (And it's completely understandable!) you may add two to your SKILL for this combat.
