Xeresgate

Perhaps the 'Nervates can help you, perhaps not - but one thing's for sure: you don't intend to face the dangers outside of Xeresgate ill-equipped!

You look decidedly for a crossroad, where there just may be a signpost or something of major shops in town. You seem to recall there being a decree a few years back that enabled shops to put up directional signs at will in town... for a small annual tax per sign, of course (You have to love King Michael's enterpreneurial spirit!).

You've gone but a short way from the Serpent's Head and Tressex Square when you arrive at a major drawing point for the town: the King's Arms Inn - a boardingplace and tavern for some, a hangout for the town's watch (off-duty, of course), and a general cunny-warren for the local gentry of lesser repute. It isn't far from the entrance to the King's Arms Inn that you spy a finely-lathed oaken pole, upon which are affixed intricately carved shop signs pointing in nearly every direction (You're beginning to think one gets what they pay for in taxes in Xeresgate!).

There is a sign pointing (direction) that reads "Weaponsmith", a sign pointing (direction) that reads "Armorsmith", a sign pointing west that reads "Alchemist", and a sign pointing (direction) that reads "Tailor".

What will you do?
