"I was recently given a map," you begin. "The map was made by my father, who passed away several years ago. This map leads to a supposed horde of gold, buried in an abandoned mine. I am on a quest to locate and recover my fathers gold."
The Kamani men stare back at you in silence for a long and uncomfortable time. You wait to find out what sort of decision they will reach with a dreaded anticipation that you struggle to control.
Then the leader looks at you and speaks. "You are on a quest for your father. The Great Spirit has brought you to us in your quest, and we shall aid you in your journey."
This comes as a bit of a relief to you. You were certain just moments ago that you would have no hope of surviving this encounter, but here you are not only surviving it, but joined by the four men whom you thought would bring you a swift death. There's a lot to be said for speaking the truth.
