The knights Lady

Alinor was Stunned. She turned to leave the stables. She was furious with her sweetheart, Wil. But she was too embarrassed to confront him in the act. she walked briskly out of the stable considering all of the things she would say to him when she caught up to him.

She was so angry she did not notice her surroundings. She did not notice her Brother and Father standing in the courtyard, or the blonde stranger from the road speaking to them. She also did not notice her father calling out to her until Robert grasped her arm.

"Alinor! What's the matter with you?" His voice was annoyed, but there was concern knit into his brow as well.

Alinor blinked the red rage from her eyes and looked up at her brother, "I'm sorry Robert, what were you saying?"

"He wasn't saying anything," Said the Baron, "I was" The tall Baron was an older version of the dark haired Robert. More grey in his beard and lines around the eyes, but he was still handsome and the vitality of youth was still with him. "I wanted to introduce you to Sir Guy of Saxony. He will be a guest here for a little while Â…and maybe longer"

The Baron looked to his guest to see if the hint had any effect on the young knight, but Guy was not listening. He was focused on Alinore and more specifically the thin silk at the top of her bodice. Alinor looked to the man before her. He was the same man she saw on the road. He was more handsome than any man she had ever known. Her brother was handsome, but with dark hair and eyes. Wil was dark also. She had never seen Golden hair and blue eyes on a man, at least not at a man this good looking. He was as handsome here as he was on the road. Too bad he was such an arrogant son-of-a-pig. Alinor Schooled her face to politeness despite the fact that he wasn't looking at her face.

"Well met Sir Knight, I trust your journey was fair."

Guy was shocked. This was the same girl from the road, but she was no girl. A lovely red haired full breasted woman stood before him. Had he called her "girl" like a peasant? If she was anything like the girls he knew, she would be long in forgiving such an insult. If forgivness came at all.

"Well met indeed lady Alinor. My journey was fair, all but the last few hours." He gave her his most winning grin, it always worked to charm the young girls In taverns. "But considering my complete lack of tact with you on the road, I suppose a few hours hard ride is simply my penance." He took her hand, and kissed her knuckles in a gesture of peace.
