Draco Cronnoc II

"I'm going now," you tell Susan. "I'm going to go to the DWI office. Could you tell me where it is?"

"Well, all criminal facilities are gathered on this block. They're office would be in the Automobile Crimes Department. Third down the street if you make a left when you leave."

"Thank you," you tip your hat and leave. You take the preordained directions and arrive at the office. Pushing open the door, all you find is one very small man at a very large desk.

"Hello?" he says, looking up through disproportionally large spectacles. "May I be of service?"

"My name is Draco Cronnoc," you explain hastily. "I am with the Richland Harbor Police Department. I'm here investigating the attacks at Rigor Industries."

The man pauses for a moment, and then looks at you oddly. "I fail to see how that has anything to do with my department."

You hesitate as well. "Or so it would seem at first glance, but one of the men we believed was a targeted victim had to register here."

"Fine," the man looks down. "I'll see what I can do. "What's his name?"

"Lucas Esmodre."

"Spelling of Esmodre?"

"E-S-M-O-D-R-E."

The man enters the name on his computer. "Says Luke Esmodre was never here."

You are taken aback. "But Susan Gray found him in her database, and she said he was in another as well!"

"That doesn't make sense, because the only database someone guilty of DWI would be this one. All I can say is that whatever Luke Esmodre did, he didn't commit a DWI. You'll have to forgive Susan for her mistake. While she is a great asset to us, she has a lot of ground to cover; her office is by far the most general and all-inclusive."

Damn. A dead end. You leave the office and decide to check with the army about Lucas in Graes.
