Will Richard Save the Day on his Day Off? You Decide!

You run past the three men. The one on your side calls out to you, but the other two men quickly silence him. You take a lift down a floor. From here it's only a short walk to the glider docks.

This part of the station seems to have been secured by the enemy. You see three armed guards in front of the doors to the docks. You also see three troops standing in front of you, their guns trained on your chest.

"Put the gun down! Put the gun down!" one of them yells.

No point trying to fight your way out of this one. You slowly put your gun down. One of the soldiers grabs you by the shoulder and roughly pulls you out of the lift. The soldier who pulled you out then removes your helmet. The third soldier prepares a hypodermic, and injects something into a vein in your neck. You feel dizzy and nauseous. You then black out.

When you wake up, you're in what you recognize as the station's mess. All the chairs and tables are gone however, and there are dozens if not hundreds of other prisoners in the room with you. There are also several armed guards watching over the room.

After a few days, you and some others are herded with no explanation onto a ship. Week's pass, and you finally arrive at your destination. A man explains the situation of yourself and the other prisoners with you. It seems you are on a moon orbiting a gas giant. Said moon has many valuable minerals and ores that are necessary for the war effort. You're job, for the rest of your life, will be to mine the various minerals and ores. You can take a little solace however, in the fact that the rest of your life likely won't be that long. The work is brutal, and even the most hardy of individuals rarely make it past three years.
