Final Quest
You crouch down, and pick some of the yellow flowers. The scent gets stronger as you get nearer to them, but is still just as sweet.
No one objects as you pick the flowers. The man waits for you to finish, and then says, "To change the River of Death back, you must defeat death itself."
"How do we do that?" you ask.
The man shrugs. "I am just the messenger," he explains. "This riddle, you must answer for yourself." He takes you over to a group of unicorns. "These will carry you until you leave the River of Death, at which point they will come back here."
You smile, and softly stroke one of the unicorn's noses. "Hello," you murmur.
Torai helps you and then Alasse onto the unicorns, then gets up himself.
A dark mist appears in front of you. The unicorns rear, and then gallop towards the portal, faster than any ordinary horses.
You are back in the River of Death. The unicorns carry you forward a few metres, and then stop when they come to a crossraoads.
Which way do you want to go?
