The neverending story
After crawling on your hands and knees for roughly 25 feet, you find a door, very different from the one in the side of the ship. It looks like it irises open in six pieces. To the left of the door is a small glowing white button. On pressing it, the door opens to reveal the cockpit you saw earlier.
You climb into the only seat in the space.
The view outside shows the forest beyond the clearing, and blue sky above.
Although their are buttons, switches, and levers practically everywhere, the ones most likely to allow you to control this ship are roughly in front of you.
To your left are a grouping of levers, and switches surrounding a steering wheel. To your right are many brightly colored buttons.
