Realizing that this may be your only chance to escape the potential threat of the cougar, you move into the wood as quickly and quietly as you can manage. You wince when a twig snaps beneath your foot but are thankful when you note that the cougar was too intent on it's prey to pay you mind.

You are off the trail now, stepping carefully over fallen braches and potentially entangling foliage. You notice a stump not far from your position; it looks extremely inviting after your days of wandering around on your feet. You are very tempted to sit down upon it and rest; maybe eat a portion of your rations and drink some of your water while you are there.

You look ahead beyond the stump, and see no path that you may come upon anytime soon. It'll just be more forcing yourself through the thorns and branches for quite some time before you can hope to reach the next trail... Assuming that there is one.

You think back to your days in the Amazon. There were areas of the rain forest like this; so overgrown that you could easily lose yourself. You remember when Dolph, one of your followers, actually did get lost like this. It took two days to find him, and he was a mess of fear.

But this forest was a little less thick with plant life than the Amazon, and the temperature was more than a little more comfortable. A cool breeze brushes at your face as you step forward over an old and rotting log.

You glance over at the stump longingly.
