The Darkness

You look around the room and see that you're in some kind of bedroom. In front of you there is a small bed against the wall that has been neatly made. At on end there is a night stand with one drawer and a small lamp sitting on it. On the right wall there is a large bookcase next to the window, which is full of what looks like to be very old books. On the left wall you see a closed oak door and next to it on the wall looks to be a small picture of some sort. In the center of the room there is a small round table with nothing on it but a small shot glass in the middle. You also notice that you no longer see the soft red light coming through the window. What do do now?
