The Island of Destiny
You and Sabrina start to wander across the vast expanse of beach in front of you. As you are walking you decide to learn more about her.
"So where are you from?" you ask her.
"San Antonio, Texas," she replies. "I wish I were back there right now. It was my little brother's birthday today." She looks down at the sand sadly.
She then asks a few questions about your life. Once you have both seemed to gotten to know each other a bit more you bring up your current situation.
"So...what do you think we can do to get off this island?"
She shakes her head. "I wish I knew, but I've only been here for a little while like yourself..."
She then stops and looks around, horrified. You look curiously at her and ask "Something wrong?"
"Where is the ocean?!" she exclaims. Sure enough, when you look around you find that there is no ocean anymore, or jungle for that matter. Just sand as far as you can see.
"A desert," you whisper.
"H-how did this happen. How could it just disappear?" Sabrina asks you, clearly frightened.
"I don't know," you reply. "But we're in the middle of a desert now. Should we follow our footprints back the way we came or keep going this way?"
She only looks at you and says "The choice is yours."
