The demon scam
You suddenly have a change of mind, thinking it might be worth it to let her know your name after all. "Wait!" you call after her, and she turns back to you, her tail swishing slowly.
"I'm sorry, it's Lint," you hurry to say.
The demon studies you for a moment and then she says, "And I am Naria." She eyes you for a momement and then says, "Well then, Lint. Opening up portals to the human realm is not that easy. Not everyone has the gift."
"I assume that you don't," you say, a little disappointed.
"No, and I only know one who can," she says, flicking a black ear.
"And that would be..?"
"There is a town not far from here, with an oracle who can open portals. I guess you could ask him for help."
