The demon scam
"Please..!" you plead, "let me come with you! If you leave me here, my sister and I are surely doomed."
The demon hesitates and bites her lip. Then she sighs. "Damn it all..." she says, "Come along then, but I cannot protect you from my own kind! That would be a betrayal."
You smile with relief. "Thank you so much!"
The demon gives a slight grin. "Don't worry about it... But if we are to travel together, I want to know your name."
"Off course," you say. "It's Lint."
The demon smiles a little. "And I'm Naria."
