The demon scam

As soon as the creature comes around the corner of the rock, you leap at it with your dagger raised, hardly taking notice of the fact that it is a rather pretty female cat-demon.

The demon blinks in slight surprise at the sudden attack, but she easily dodges and lashes out with her claws to scratch you across your cheek with an annoyed hiss. "What do you think you are doing!?"
