Revenge
To your relief, you realise that the soldier is one that you recognise - Kai. He's covered with blood, and appears wounded, but he's alive. Without thinking, you run over to him.
Apparently expecting some kind of threat, Kai raises his sword as you run over to him. Then, as he sees who you are, he lowers it again, his eyes wide. "Asahi!" he cries. "What are *you* doing here?!"
"My dad's fighting!" you scream. "Please, you have to help him!"
"*What*?!" However, before Kai can do anything else, he is suddenly pierced from behind by a sword. As he slowly crumples to the grass, you see, standing in Kai's place, the red-haired man who was fighting your father.
For a long moment, the two of you just stare at each other. Child and assassin. Assassin and child. He doesn't seem to have any attention of attacking you.
What are you going to do?
