Revenge

After a moment, you head over to Ronin, deciding to see if there's anything he needs you to do. You hardly spare a glance to the warriors training. Even despite your large size, you make hardly any noise as you walk across the slightly ridged floor of the dojo.

However, as always, Ronin apparently feels you approach, and he glances up at you with his usual charming smile. For just an instance, you think you see a glimmer of tiredness in his gaze, but it's gone when you blink, leaving you unsure as to whether or not you actually saw it.

"I'm glad you're here, Kanaye," Ronin says. "I wanted to talk to you about sending your charge against a target..."

You frown. Asahi? What possible target could she be sent against? As usual, you feel a wave of protectiveness for the young woman who you've looked after for years. "Who's the target?" you ask out loud.

Ronin smiles. "I discovered the whereabouts of Battousai the Manslayer," he answers, resting a hand on your shoulder. "It is rather fitting, as I promised that I would deliver her father's murderer to Asahi."

You frown. Something doesn't feel right, but do you trust your instincts?
