The Black Citadel

The process is briefly very painful, but you metamorphose into a Centaur whilst Zirder has transformed into a Serpenantus (a giant black serpent). The serpenantus starts slithering towards you and makes a deadly lunge. Your reflexes are sharp and you manage to sidestep it, twist your powerful upper body and hit the serpent in the side of its head with your fist with surprising force. The serpent quickly slithers around to your side and makes another lunge. You arch your body backwards and kick out with your hooves to connect with the serpent's soft underbelly. The serpent has only become more agitated and it quickly makes another lightning fast lunge. The serpent's sharp fangs find themselves around your right shoulder and you shriek out in pain. You fall down to the ground with the serpent's jaws still locked around your shoulder. You quickly feel you consciousness ebbing away…
