The Black Citadel

The process is briefly very painful, but you metamorphose into a Werebear whilst Zirder has transformed into a Serpenantus (a giant black serpent). The serpenantus starts slithering towards you and makes a deadly lunge. The serpent's jaws lock themselves around your powerful forearm but in this position, the serpent is very vulnerable. You swipe out with your other free huge forepawed claw to gash the serpent along one side of its body. The serpent lets go of you and withdraws in pain. You clamber your huge frame after the serpent and strike out with a powerful fury again to wound its soft underbelly. The serpent has become more wary now and seems a little sluggish, but suddenly it makes a lightning fast lunge and it sinks its sharp fangs into your thigh.
