Legend

"Tanya what difference does it make?"
"What?"
"Look, you're part of a thieves ring. And okay like you said, they aren't as bad as the Syndicate, but I've met a few of them and some are only just barely better than Syndicate members. You're deluding yourself if you think you're not leaning heavily on the dark side of morality already."
"I know that alright?! But…I just don't want to get worse! At least the Guild has rules and…"
"The Guild doesn't have ANY rules! The Syndicate has more structure than the Guild does! Hell, they even work within the law sometimes. I think the only thing that's holding the Guild together is the threat of the Syndicate, and even then just barely."
"The Guild has been my family and accepted me, now maybe you don't know what its like to never be accepted by society and…"
"I don't know what its like?! You ever hear of a small backwater village named Altberg? Of course not, not many have. Everyone knows each other and everyone thinks alike. What place do you think a rogue like me had there huh? None! At least you could find relief at some place in the city you were born in, I had to be stuck in that village until I grew up! And the Guild being your family? How much do they really accept you? I mean they probably recognize your talents, but I haven't seen you exactly be friendly with any of them or socialize with any the whole time I've been there. You're about as friendly with them as you are with me and hell despite your hostility you speak MORE to me since I actually make a conscious effort to speak with you. You really don't owe any of them anything, and being part of the Guild isn't going to replace your need for a family despite how you act like you want to be left alone all the time."
"Oh and joining the Syndicate is?"
"No. But I'LL be there! I'll be there with you. You already know how I feel. You know damn well I'm being serious. At least this way you'll be alive and have someone to be with."

Tanya looks at you unsure of how to react. You're guessing that nobody has ever gone to such lengths before let alone told her what you have.

"I…I don't know…I just don't want my demon heritage to take over and I become a monster…"
"Hey, you'll never become a monster. Monsters aren't as beautiful as you and even if you do, I'll still be there."

Your words have definitely had an effect, but actions do too. You'll have to make a MIND test to see if you've convinced her but past deeds also count.

You must add two to your result for the following:
Getting off on the wrong foot with her (Being Wanted for Theft)
Getting her burned while she was disarming a trap

You must add one for each of the following:
If you were sloppy on the job with her (Like getting into a fight with one of the priests in the temple or thrown face first into the gutter)
If you had an opportunity to steal and didn't take it

You can subtract one for each of the following:
If she thought were competent on the job (You didn't get thrown in the gutter or get into an unnecessary fight in the temple)
If you ended up getting Dorna's Death Decree on you.

You can subtract two for each of the following:
Getting off on the right foot with her (Saved a girl from a Necromancer)
Stealing a necklace and giving it to her

Make your test and see if you succeeded.
