You leave the battleground that is the Guild and go down the passage Garrick ran down. You know while there isn't an official leader of the Guild, Garrick's the closest to it, and you need to get rid of him so there isn't the likelihood of a regroup later on. He's probably got an extra secret escape route that nobody knows about except him. Possibly leading out of the city.

Garrick sees you chasing him, and shouts back.

"Traitor! We trusted you! We accepted you as one of our own!"
"Your mistake old man!"
With that statement, Garrick pulls a lever that opens up a large pit before you and continues to run.
