When you put the ring on a cold chill envelopes your hand! Lose 2 STAMINA points. This ring is cursed and it refuses to come off now. Lose 2 from your Initial LUCK score.
The ring does have a side benefit as you'll find out. Anytime you're in combat against a living creature you may do 1 extra point of STAMINA point whenever you land a hit. (This benefit doesn't affect undead or other unnatural creatures like demons or golems of course)
Before you can do anything else you hear a lot of noise coming from downstairs. Not all of it human sounding. You decide to get out of here as quickly as possible. This whole place has had an air of weirdness about it. You leave out the bedroom window and climb down, eventually making your way to the street.
