As much as you like the couple times you got to bed that aristocratic wench, you just know you can't trust her. If she's setting her own father up for assassination, there's a very real possibility of her doing the same to you in the future. Oh well, you figure it'll probably be better being single anyway. You reach the Baron's room where that fool Hector is guarding the door. He managed to survive Farad's assault on the Palace, by running and hiding in the stables when he saw the first demon conjured up.
"Hey, it's the big rebellion crusher! The Baron's inside having his breakfast; I wouldn't bother him if I were you." Hector says.
"I don't give a shit I have to, it's really important!" you demand.
"Sheesh! Well if you insist on getting screamed at by my guest. I'm going on a little break anyway, I'm sure the Baron will be safe with you in there. I swear, you're starting to act like the damn Baron."
As Hector leaves, you enter the room to find the Baron stuffing his fat face. The idiot actually looks pleased to see you.
"Hey, its you! Good, I've been wanting to talk to you."
"Is that so? Well I guess I'll just have to always wonder what it was."
"Wha ?" the Baron says with his mouth half stuffed with food. You quickly take advantage and strike him once in the head with your weapon, killing him before he can even react.
You're a little surprised that it was as easy as you thought it was, you're even more surprised when Ludmilla suddenly appears from nowhere.
"Oh ho! Trying to sneak up on me eh? Well I'm glad you're here, I was planning on killing you anyway. Sorry sweetheart, but I plan on ruling alone." you say gripping your weapon ready for battle. Ludmilla shakes her head and looks at you in disappointment.
"(Sigh) Why did you lie to me? I told you not to do that to me ever again. I was hoping we could work together on this, but I see that I misjudged you. Now I guess I'll have tell everyone I had to kill my father's assassin. Someone close to him who betrayed his trust "
Ludmilla now approaches you with a dagger. She's very quick and using some sort of shadow magic, causing her to phase in and out. You may not use any technology on her and instant kill weapons won't work. If you're a Wizard you may cast Dispell which will eliminate her shadow tricks. You may lower her SKILL to 10.
