You divided the training time by taking advantage of the resources the Baron gave you and took the opportunity to build brimstone throwers (If you are without one, you have one now) and arm most of the soldiers with them. Actually training them how to use them wasn't really necessary since all you have to do is point it in the general direction and pull the trigger!

Before a battle takes place, you may command your squad to fire. Test your SQUAD SKILL and if you're successful, you may deduct 15 STAMINA points from the enemy. If you fail, most of those throwers blow up thanks to your "quick and dirty" approach to building them and you lose 6 points of SQUAD STAMINA and you can't order them to fire again. (Your own thrower is unaffected though so you don't have to cross it off)
