Amnesia
"Oh sod it!" you say to yourself, "If I can find my own way out of there then they should be able to too."
You walk home and try to remember where you live. It's not that far from the BBP building. You get there in no time.
The first thing you do is fix yourself up. You have millions of cuts and bruises all over your body, but you're too knackered to feel much pain. You cover yourself in plasters and arnica cream. Then you make yourself a coffee and a sandwich. Once you've eaten and drank everything, you walk into your bedroom, and flop down on the bed. The last thing you remember before you fall asleep, is hearing your clock strike 9:00. You're not sure whether it's am or pm. But to be honest, you don't really care.
