This is really revolting.
Not the digging the heart out part, that's just tiring, but the maggots are everywhere and you'll have to get elbows deep into the corpse just to get the damn heart out. Mucking about with the worms can't be good for you.
Depending on what you have with you right now, you may avoid certain dangers.
If you have a potion of Iron Will, you may drink it to prevent vomiting violently from the revolting stench and maggots. Lose 3 STAMINA points if you don't have this
If you have a sharp weapon of any kind, obviously you can get the heart out easier, if not you have a hell of a time getting it out with your hands. You end up spraining your hand doing this, lose 1 SKILL point.
Finally you get the heart which is riddled with holes. I really hope you have leather gloves in this case, because if not, you've just been infested by ROT GRUBS. This will kill you within a few moments as they burrow their way into vital organs of your body. Unless you can do one of the following
A priest can use a prayer to cure himself instantly
A wizard can cast a protection from vermin spell, which will expel the nasty creatures.
Assuming you survive all this you shake off the Rot Grubs from the heart and shove the disgusting thing in your backpack. (Takes up 3 spaces)
Well you didn't have to fight anything, but this was still an unpleasant experience. You leave as quickly as possible.
