Looking once over your shoulder, you step through the hole in the barn wall and find yourself at the side of a structure which stands in the middle of an open area sparsely populated with occasional sprouts of grass.

A gun shot sounds behind you and you see a cloud of dust rise up to the left of you where the bullet struck the ground only a few feet away.

Taking this as some sort of sign, you decide to run. There is another barn not far away, and it seems in better condition than the one you broke free from. You figure the horses are in there, and you will need one to escape.

As you make your way to the barn you wonder whether that Mexican was a terrible shot, or if they're trying to keep you alive. You expect it's the latter, or they would've killed you in the city streets rather than just knocking you out.

As you get closer to the smaller barn, you notice a few elongated shadows stemming from one of the sides that is not visible to you. Looks like three men. How the hell are you going to get a horse when there are men guarding the barn?

Son of a bitch.

A horse will certainly make your escape easier, but the risk involved in getting to the horse is almost overwhelming. You can see the town not too far off in the distance. Do you continue on course to the stables, or veer away and run towards town?
