The Whole World In Your Hands
The first European nation you take is Bulgaria. This is easy enough, as they have so few soldiers. But this action bristles the leaders of Europe. You have now taken over land in their continent! They know they could be next.
All of Europe unites, forming one big country. Very big. With quite a few people. And each nation did have a draft. That's a few to many people than the armies of the United States can handle. You are pushed out of Bulgaria, far out of Bulgaria. In fact, you are pushed all the way back to Iran, where some militant kills you (you had decided to personally command the European assault, thinking it would raise your troops' morale. And you died for it).
