The Black Citadel
The only thing inside the room is a beautifully crafted ornate battle staff, sticking upright out of a round polished stone in the centre of the floor. You reach out a take it.
*Battle Staff "Infernal" (+1 to your dice rolls during combat when rolling 2 dice).
You suddenly hear the sound like a crackling of energy and suddenly, from out of the darkness, springs a huge skeleton wearing plate armour and welding something that resembles a giant butchers blade. The towering figure of heavy bones swings at your head and you duck just in time and the blade whooshes overhead. Your guess is that this huge skeleton warrior must have been summoned when you took the staff, triggering off the magical defense ward. Roll two dice.
If you roll 2-6 lose 2 armour points
If you roll 7 a parry of weapons
If you roll 8-10 the skeleton loses 1 armour point (total 3)
If you roll 11-12 the skeleton suffers a fatal blow
