You go left until you reach a door, when you open it; you are met with some very angry DARK ELVES! They don't hesitate to attack!
"Die surfacer!" one of them says.
Luckily you can fight them one at a time by standing in the doorway.

If you win, you find nothing on two of the dark elves, but you find 10 gold pieces and some dice on one. From what you can tell these are loaded dice which explains why one of them had all the gold. Take what you wish.
The rest of the room is nondescript and has nothing of any importance. You leave out the door across the room.
