Azoth suddenly speaks to you.
"Mmm, I sense one of my own here. Demarak the Corruptor."
"You mean a demon like you?" you ask.
"Ha ha ha! He wishes! No, this one is relatively weak. I dare say you could probably defeat him even without my help. He's a pathetic creature, a bottom feeder on the scale of the Abyss, its no wonder he'd prefer to spend time on this plane rather than home. It looks like he's attempting to corrupt this forest. A worthwhile endeavor I suppose, but I of course could do it much better."
"So what does all this mean?"
"Nothing at all. I just felt the need to inform you of the potential danger; after all we are partners are we not? And while you COULD by pass that cave, just think of the power that could await you in there. Demarak has probably acquired powerful magic objects over time, I'm sure after you defeated him, you'd be able to put them to good use."
"But he still sounds pretty powerful, even if he's only half as powerful as you, I don't think I'd be a match for him."
"Ah, but you forget, you have ME to help! I shall certainly aid you in your fight, partner. Still, the choice is yours; I'm merely pointing out the possibilities and trying to guide you to achieving your potential." Azoth says.
