All Is Fair in Hate
Rella led you from the room you had awoken in to a the door and into a long, narrow hallway. It was bedecked in several disturbing varnishes but other then that seemed quite cozy for a hallway.
From the hallway you were led down stairs and into an enormous common room only natural for a prosperous inn. The room was filled to the brim with all types of man and then some. It had been teeming with noise until Rella entered with you on her heels. Everything ceased. Heads turned, eyes burned, mugs stopped halfway to mouths.
"She's awake! By the gods! Keiya is awake! Let's celebrate for she will once again continue her quest to cleanse this world! Maybe she'll recognize us for saving her when she's finished with the demon lot!" A scruffy looking man raised his glass, bellowing to his fellows with one large grin plastered to his face. At least it looked like a grin You couldn't quite make out anything through his beard and long hair.
Cheers chorused from all corners of the room as more people lifted their mugs in your honor.
It's would be an understatement to say you were confused. You were bedazzled, star-struck, utterly puzzled. The only reassurance you had through your confusion was Rella's warm hand leading you through the crowd.
They seemed friendly enough but then there were others you caught glimpses of that didn't seem all too pleased with your awakening. This frightened you to no end...
