While you watch, helpless to do anything, the guardian sweeps a shadowy arm over Rurona's limp form. The ghost screams as she is drawn in to add to Death's power.

With Rurona's power added to Death's, you are not able to defeat the guardian, no matter how hard you try. The guardian makes short work of you before turning on your companions.
