Final Quest
You pause, turning your head slightly to look at the knight. "What is it?" you ask, wondering if Rurona has, indeed, got to this knight.
The knight hesitates for a moment. Then, he asks, "You are the ones who are attempting to free this castle from its curse?"
"Well, we're really searching for the stone," Torai says before you can respond. "We'll *try* to break the curse on this place, but it is not our first priority."
The knight hesitates for a moment. Then, he produces a glowing jewel, which he holds out to you. "Here," he says.
As you start to reach out to take it, Alasse speaks up: "I am getting a strange sense from this jewel," she says. "It is contradictary, both light and dark."
"Should I take it?" you ask the seer.
"We need all the help we can get," Torai reminds you.
During this exchange, the knight remains silent, still holding the jewel out to you in his gloved hand. Coming to an abrupt decision, you take it from him, and put it in a safe place. When you look up again, the knight is gone.
