Final Quest
"Is this a good idea?" Torai asks you in a whisper as you make your way over to the door. "It could be a trap, for all we know."
Next to you, Alasse nods in agreement, looking around with obvious fear. "I'm getting an... uncertain sense from this area," she says, clinging to your hand and reminding you, yet again, that she is only a child. "It scares me. I don't want to go in there."
You hesitate for a moment, but the pull from the unknown room is too strong. Vaguely, you pat her hand in an attempt to be reassuring. "Don't worry," you tell her. "You can stay outside the room if you're frightened."
Alasse doesn't reply to that, but remains clinging to your hand, apparently deciding that waiting on her own would be much worse than entering a room which is unclear even to her Sight.
You push open the door, but pause before actually entering.
Rurona is standing in what appears to be a bedchamber. As you watch, she half-turns so that she is facing a painting of a young man. She doesn't speak, but lets out a small sound that could almost be a sob.
Some unseen force prevents you from actually entering the room, but Rurona does not seem to notice you.
