Silent, but Deadly
You scramble back to the bunker where Sgt. Fields awaits you. He is impressed that you understood his hand and arm signals. Obviously, you had no clue. Sgt. Fields leads you into the heart of the bunker and starts giving you new instructions.
"Well, Private Jones, it seems that you should be commended for a job well done. But, I still think you are full of booboo! Anyways, if you would like to make it home alive, you must complete this next missionÂ…infiltrate enemy lines and cut out all aspects of their communication. Once this is completed, you must climb to the top of the observation tower and raise the Marine Corps flag. Is that understood?"
"Yes, sir!"
"Well, just don't stand there, get your butt moving!"
You take your rifle, grab your pack, and head out into the unknown.
At this point, you would have been given a couple of options, but I think you don't really have a choice. The platoon has regrouped and is waiting to see if you can accomplish this mission alone. They await the sign of the flag to wave. It is you mission and your mission alone. Good Luck! Choose wisely.
