Silent, but Deadly

You put down all the ammunition and start yelling for the Navy Corpsman (medicine man). You reach into your first aid kit and pull out some bandages and medication. As you start to render first aid, you knock over all the ammo out of its cans and are now covered with sand. You pay no attention to that fact at this particular moment.
"What's wrong with you, Private Jones?" Cpl. Carr yells out. "I am not badly shot. It is only a flesh wound. I can still fight. You are one clumsy fool! You know that? You've always been clumsy. You better pick up all that ammo and get it to the rest of the platoon."
"I was only trying to help you. I didn't think that you would blow up in my face!" You stand up and start to cry, "I thought you were my friend!"
Cpl Carr screams, " Get down!"
As your feelings are crushed, you start to pout, "You can't make me!"
The fighting escalates around you and then you feel a numbness coming over you. Everything starts to fade to black. You fall into the fighting hole and that is when you realize that you have been shot. No chance of surviving this type of wound. It is more severe than his flesh woundÂ…a clean headshot right between the eyes.
